My professional history includes a year working as a research assistant for Novatek developing polycrystalline diamond drill bits.  Following that I worked for 5 years as a research and development scientist designing, building, and field testing an explosives detection system for security applications.  I then turned my attention to building a family with my husband.  We raised 3 beautiful children who are the joy of our existence.  As my children became adults I reentered the physics world and taught as an Adjunct Professor at UVU for 7 years.  While there I revamped the Physics 2215 lab to utilize Arduino based sensors for mobile experiments that students could perform remotely during Covid.  I love everything having to do with science and technology and have a background in computer science, astronomy, and chemistry. I am an avid backpacker and enjoy going on solo backpacking trips to the wildest places I can find.  I also love hiking, biking, reading, learning Hebrew, and teasing my kids.  I love attending church and find great joy in serving in the community.
