Sara Payne is a full-time student at Utah Valley University studying elementary education while enjoying the opportunity to make lunch for the high school students at UCAS. She has three children, her oldest son is a freshman at UCAS, and she has an 11-year-old daughter and an 8-year-old son. Sara met her husband online while attending college for computer science. Her husband is a software engineer. Their family has lived in Springville for over 6 years. Sara loves to be a part of the community. She helps the city of Springville by being a crossing guard and is a part of the amateur ham radio group. Her favorite place to be is in the ocean. Recently, their family went to Mexico where they scuba dived with sea turtles. She also had the opportunity to scuba dive every day in Jamaica. She loves being around children, traveling, scuba diving, hiking, dancing and learning new things. Her favorite school lunch is chicken sandwiches and cookies, but she loves it when the kitchen smells like cinnamon rolls.
