Early in Gary Ashton's career, he taught Secondary Math for 17 years and simultaneously coached football and baseball at Provo and Timpview High schools. More recently, he worked in the Computer Science private sector and taught associated courses for the last 38 years. He has a Masters in Computer Science and enjoys working with and motivating students to achieve their very best. Mr. Ashton has a wide range of technology experience in both the business and public education sectors. For fun, Mr. Ashton enjoys watching football and baseball as well as playing golf. Spending time with grandchildren and family is a definite priority for him. Following the stock market and learning new investment strategies is also a keen interest and hobby of Mr. Ashton’s.
