• The Bridging the Dream Scholarship for High School Seniors: The Sallie Mae Fund will award (25) $10,000 scholarships to high school seniors who plan to enroll in a two- or four-year degree professional certificate, or vocational training program. Seniors who excel inside and outside of the classroom and demonstrate financial need can apply NOW through Feb. 28 at www.salliemae.com/landing/ bridging-the-dream. • The Completing the Dream Scholarship: The Sallie Mae Fund will award (185) gap scholarships worth up to $2,500 each to minority students and those from underserved communities who are on track to graduate but are at-risk of not completing due to financial emergency or unpaid school bill. Keys to Success
Keys to Success is the new Utah Futures. Students if you haven’t registered with Keys to Success, you should do this now. You can download the app on your phone or go to the website at https://www.ktsutah.org/
This app/website can give you access to a lot of important information through high school and even into your college years. Students can get discounts on food and activities in our Provo community as well as school opportunities, scholarships, upcoming events, career pathways, etc. Turn on the notifications, and you will always know what is going on. The more you use the app, the more points you will accumulate and the more prizes you can win. Keys to Success $12,000 Scholarship: Students will find the application in the app or at KTSUtah.org. Students will fill out the application form and send additional application documents to the counselor. Counselor will select 1 recipient.
Utah Girls State
Those who participate in girls state have the opportunity to apply for various scholarships.
How to Register:
- Speak with your high school counselor and express your interest to participate. They will set up an interview with a representative of ALA Utah Girls State. If you are selected you will receive an email invitation from WSU.
- If you have received your invitation to register, fill out your registration online.
- Turn in a check for $450 and the signed registration forms to the Auxiliary unit in your area by the date you were provided.

Alliance for Unity Scholarships

As a group of civic and business leaders committed to strengthening communities in Utah, the Alliance for Unity has created $2,000 scholarships for distribution to deserving high school seniors in the state who would otherwise be unable to attain a post-secondary degree. Applicants must have a family income that qualifies them for free or reduced lunch, show a consistent after-school work history, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Centennial Scholarship for Early Graduation

Within the Utah State Office of Education, the Centennial Scholarship for Early Graduation is granted each year for up to $1,000 to outstanding students who have graduated from a Utah public school in less than four years. Eligible candidates must enroll in an eligible post-secondary institution of Utah within one calendar year of graduation and be enrolling full-time in a program accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCUU).

Jacobsen Scholarship Fund

In honor of Ted and Florence Jacobsen who have been pillars within the Utah religious community for over five decades, the Jacobsen Scholarship Fund has been created to provide need-based awards annually to college students who are active members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Qualified candidates must be enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. institution, be legal Utah residents, show evidence of financial need, and have the ability to succeed with a minimum GPA of 2.75 or greater.

Utah Nursing Grant-in-Aid Scholarships

Sponsored by the Utah Nurses Association, the Utah Nursing Grant-in-Aid Scholarships are offered once each semester for residents of Utah who have completed at least one semester of core nursing courses in pursuit of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours at an accredited Utah university, demonstrate financial need, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and submit a personal narrative on nursing goals.

Established by Paragon Wealth Management by President Dave Young in honor of his daughter who was left to provide for her three-month-old daughter when her husband died in 2005, the Live Your Dream Scholarship is offered to help single mothers in similar situations who are seeking to accomplish their dreams in higher education. For consideration, single mothers must be legal Utah residents, have graduated from high school, demonstrate financial need, and have realistic attainable goals at a Utah university.

Jack and Jill Lang Scholarship Fund
Deadline: July 30th
Through the Epilepsy Association of Utah, the Jack and Jill Lang Scholarship Fund offers two $500 awards annually to individuals diagnosed with epilepsy who are planning to attend an accredited two or four-year college within Utah in the upcoming school year. Along with the application, candidates must submit verification of diagnosis from a physician, an unofficial high school transcript, a college acceptance letter, and a personal essay on living with epilepsy.
